How to turn a Logic X electronic music song into a Mainstage live performance?

Hello,

I make solo electronic music of an broadly ambient nature using various software synths in Logic, as well as vocal samples, guitars and my own vocals. I would like to recreate these songs in Mainstage while triggering different samples live, as well as playing guitar and doing some vocals while basic elements like drums played as a backing track, but ideally with some scope to manipulate these sounds.

I have a Macbook and iPad set up with Logic remote, as well as a midi keyboard and guitar.

Has anyone ever done this, and would you be able to give me some advice on how best to go about it? My music is here, to give you an idea of what I am trying to do: https://soundcloud.com/latenightshowerculture

Thanks!

OK, thank you. Yes, my main motivation for using Mainstage is that I have it already and it's familiar from using Logic X, whereas Ableton would cost £500 just to try out if it worked. At the moment, I only have one performance booked, so I'm not sure I want to invest heavily in a live setup at this stage. I will have a try at exporting song stems into Mainstage and going from there, but if anyone has any further advice, it would be very welcome...
