Can I charge my iPhone 6S through my AUX port?

My car cigarette lighter ports do not work. I'm wondering, if I were to buy a lightning to aux cord, could that not only charge my phone but could it also play music that way? Mostly interested in figuring out a way to charge my phone without a USB port!
