Future Date Stuck in Safari History
I’ve had this annoying issue for several months, and I’ve decided to finally ask for help with it. One day I noticed that there were two entries at the top my Safari history that I hadn’t visited that day. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that those items were not showing as from that day, but actually a future date in the year 2042. I cleared the two items only to find that they reappeared later. I was on Mac OS Sierra when I discovered them, but they have iCloud-synced to all my devices. No matter which device I use to clear the items, they always reappear at the top of my history. They are two sites that I actually visited one day on MacOS Sierra, but it was definitely a day in the past- not future.
I thought to try setting my iPhone date to a day after 2042 and then clear them, but it turns out that iOS will not let me set the date beyond 2031. I will gladly try any other suggestions.
