audio midi setup issue, how to remove "empty" leawo audio device

Some time ago I took a free trial of Leawo Audio Device, a music recording device.
I decided I did not need it and uninstalled it using their uninstaller.
However, in Audio Midi setup the name Leawo Audio Device is still visible,

but because it's "empty" I can not erase it using the - key.
Sometimes sound switches, f.i. when I unplug headphones and it should return to built in output
it will choose Leawo Audio Device. Then I have to manually reset sound.
Is there a way to remove this name?
My medio 2009 old Macbook is running El Capitan version 1011.6
