Iphone dies after unplugging from charger

I charged my iphone 6 plus for an hour and it charged, used it for awhile and charged it overnight to a 100% full charge by the AM. I went to unplug it and it completely died...no charge and still no charge after three hours being plugged in. What do I do..?

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or at an Authorized Apple Service Provider. It sounds like a hardware issue.
