Tilt/shift in iPhoto?
does anyone know of a way to do the tilt/shift editing effect in iPhoto?
iMac Intel Core Duo, Mac OS X (10.4.8)
Can't be done inside iPhoto. You could probably simulate it in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.

You can, using iPhoto, 'tilt or straighten' an image. Open iPhoto, pick an image to edit, click on 'Adjust' function and you will see a 'Straighten' option, from here you can tilt or straighten your image slightly... to make effects more dramatic you will probably need to crop the existing image and experiment...

I believe the OP was referring to an effect that is normally done with a view camera but can be simulated in Photoshop. If you do a Google search for "Tilt Shift Effect" you'll see several links. See this link and scroll down to Shift and Tilt.
