Apple TV stuttering when streaming video on MacBook Pro

AppleTV Gen 3

OS fully updated

Wifi 150+ mbps in the room with the Apple TV

I used to stream video fine, but now it stutters, sometimes once every second, when streaming video from various websites online.

My Macbook Pro is connected via Airplay. Have tried it 2 feet from the Apple TV, and also 10 feet from Apple TV

Apple TV connected to TV via good HDMI cable.

No other major interference in the room that I can see other than Telus PVR, and some stereo speakers.

Modem is in the next room, 5-6' away through a wall.

I have data from istumbler but I'm not sure what to look for/post.

Any advice? Thanks.

Are you able to have your access point choose a static channel?

Not sure. By access point, do you mean my router? I can log into it and snoop around to see if I can figure that out.

That's interesting are the speakers or the system very close to the Apple TV?

The AppleTV is on the shelf below the stereo. They all have to be close because they are plugged into the TV. It was on the same shelf but I moved the AppleTV to the shelf below and it didn't help.
