hi all
im going on a brutally long flight (with HORRID inflight entertainment) and rented a movie from iTunes and hoped to rent more. I want to watch this on the plane (no wifi connection). When I called the iTunes rep said this was possible, however it's not showing up under videos on my iPad. Help!
Can an I watch without Wifi! Please be so kind as to respond, I leave in 2 days.

You must download before you fly, AND to start the rental playback you must have an internet connection so that your device can contact apple’s verification server to start the 48hr rental clock. When I tried to start watching with no connection, the playback flashed and returned to the authorization page with no playback.
When I tried again while on a stopover with cell signal I was able to start playback, then watched later on the plane.
