Apple Mail 4.6
Hi,
Apple Mail 4.6 is not accepting my password on my Power Mac OS 10.6.8
How do you go about changing password or making the old one work?

Who is the e-mail provider? Usually, you have to change the password at the e-mail provider's website.
If this is an iCloud e-mail account, you need to enable 2 Factor Authentication on your Apple ID and create an app specific password to use. If your account won’t allow 2 Factor Authentication, try 2 step verification. The change was only supposed to affect 3rd party e-mail programs, but others have posted the same problem when using older OS versions of Mail and Calendar.
