iPad text not displaying correctly

I'm having issues with text display on my iPad Air 2 both iin Safari, Facebook, and other apps and on the home screen. Text is displaying as outline and not solid black, and some colours are not true - some reds are purple, others pink, while some remain red. This started about an hour ago: I restarted with no improvement, and have also done a hard reboot with no improvement. I'm currently using iOS 8.3.2. Images attached.

It is your eyes; it's bad enough that it's pretty much making it impossible to work in Word. Here's another screenshot:

Can you see how insanely difficult it is to read that? An uneven black outline surrounding grey.

It's a display issue not related to Word or Safari but global. I'm wondering if I should just take it to the Genius Bar; it's that bad.

I agree with Diana.McCall. I do not see an issue with the latest screenshot either. Since the screenshot appears correct, but you are seeing an issue on the screen, it is indicative of a screen hardware problem. As Diana says, make a Genius Bar appointment and have the device examined by Apple. They will explain your options after that.
