Using Safari, when I attempt to download files in the NeoOffice format (actually the Open Document formats with extensions .odt, .ods, and .odp), a .zip extension is appended to the file name. When opened, the .zip file unzips to a directory containing .xml files. If, however, I rename the downloaded file by simply removing the .zip extension (leaving the .odt, .ods, or .odp extension), the document will open in NeoOffice correctly. This is an unnecessary and annoying behavior that I would like to avoid. How can I configure Safari to download these files properly and leave their native file names intact without having the .zip appended?
