I forgot the password for my locked notes. How can I reset the password?

I went from using a touch ID to the iPhone X which is face ID. It won't let me open any of my locked notes nor can I copy and paste as you suggested above. Does anyone else have other ideas or facing the same problem? Thanks!
Yes I read it and I tried it. And it seems that I’m not the only one having the same issue with the “solution”.

My Face ID would not recognize me. after the latest update. I finally entered the correct password, to unlock notes. Is it a good idea to use the Lock Screen number password for notes?
