I can't synchronize my Exchange account on Mail app.

I'm trying to synchronize my Exchange Email and Calendar accounts, but when I try to do so nothing happens, I just can't get any new emails or calendar invites.

On the Console app I can see this error whenever I open the Email app:

7/24/17 7:33:21.864 PM Mail[446]: Received an unexpected error: Error Domain=SOAPWebServicesErrorDomain Code=-997 "The operation couldn’t be completed. (SOAPWebServicesErrorDomain error -997.)", response: (null)

7/24/17 7:33:22.468 PM Mail[446]: -[SOAPParser:0x60800045e3c0 parser:didStartElement:namespaceURI:qualifiedName:attributes:] Type not found in EWSMeetingCancellationMessageType for DoNotForwardMeeting (t:DoNotForwardMeeting)

Do you know how this could be fixed?

I have tried deleting this accounts cache, deleting the Calendars app cache, and nothing works.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

I can tell you for sure that I have installed 10.11.6 _AFTER_ this problem started happening on my Mac. About two days after. I was actually hoping it may solve it, but it has not changed anything.

Reset mail agent works for me. I can sync email from Office364 now.

Follow it at your own risk, though.

My OS X = Yosemite.

Same here. I don't have 10.11.6 installed, yet I cannot get emails from exchange. Not since 2/8 inclusive. I'm in Australia, by the way.

This solution (Sierra upgrade) worked for me too. Thanks for the suggestion and recommendation - much appreciated.

Aug 6 at around 4pm CDT Mail finally is downloading messages. Calendar just synced too.

Yes, issue seems fixed here. Messages downloading again. Pfew... wasn't looking forward to upgrade to Sierra, just to get mail back.

Vast majority of our users are now reporting Mail working again.

The minority, sadly, includes me. I'll live.

Upgrading to Sierra fixed the problem for me
