my daughter decided to put a passcode on my iPad and forgot what it was....now my iPad is disabled and I need it for work....how do I fix this quickly

Hi Princesskatie08,


When you have forgotten or do not know the password for your iPad you will have to restore it. There are a few ways you can do this:


  1. Erase your device with iTunes
  2. Erase your device with iCloud


When you plug your device into iTunes you should back it up before you erase it so you can keep all of your information - you may have to put your device into recovery mode though. This will help:


If you forgot the password for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
