Using maps with Bluetooth
When I use the HFP prompts the first few seconds of speech is cut off. How do I fix that?
iPhone 6s, iOS 10.3.3
Same for me.
But I get same problem in the end too.
But if I open music app and select car Bluetooth but not play any music it's only in the beginning of voicedirection.
If I play music it's perfect.
Same in waze too but they have an option to fix it so it is up to Apple to fix this I think.
Took me an hour to sort it out, it seems like the Bluetooth connection with the specific app is remembered so next time I connect to the car it'd automatically set to be connected to the music app in this case.
If you double tap home in the car it says that app is connected to the Bluetooth. Check it out to be sure it's the correct app, not all apps works for this solution.
If it's wrong app then tap it to open and in this app disconnect from Bluetooth to iPhone and close it. Open music app and select Bluetooth and after that you can close it.
If I'm wrong please let me know because I'm going crazy about the Bluetooth in the car and iPhone connection like siri and the maps don't speak correctly etc. Siri with DND active and connected to car stereo Bluetooth is a good pain in the.... A**
