Acid (acd) projects: is there a way to convert or import them in GarageBand

I have a bunch of acd project ( not exactly loops) that I'd like very much to import in Garageband.

I mean, they are songs with multiple tracks in acd format, not simple loops.

I googled a lot to look for some conversion utility that can save me the work of doing the work from scratch.

I know it will be impossible to convert an entire song (effects, markers etc.) but I hoped to find something.

I know GarageBand can import loops (not tried yet), but when I tried to import (say drag on GB window) the acd files, nothing happened...

GB definitely will not open ACID projects, but you could export each track as an Audio file (AIFF or WAV) and drop those into the GB timeline.

Thanks. This is the way I was going too. It's a shame I will lose markers and "looping" infos.

I'm still wondering if there is some conversion utilities... both programs are very common for musicians.

I'm not saying that one definitely doesn't exist, however I stay reasonably well informed and have not seen such a utility.

Search versiontracker for "acid" and see what turns up. Let us know if you find anything.
