iPad Pro 10.5, do I need both keyboard and cover?

I am planning to buy an iPad Pro 10.5. I do a significant amount of typing, so I will get a Smart Keyboard. However, sometimes I go for a day or so without typing. Should I get a Smart Cover also, or does the keyboard also double as a cover? Currently I have an iPad air 2 with a Belkin case/keyboard, and I often take it off and use the iPad with only the Apple Smart Cover. Should I plan to continue this pattern, or is the Smart Keyboard lightweight enough and "out of the way" enough to skip the extra Smart Cover?

Hi, the Smart Keyboard for the iPad Pro doubles up as a Smart Cover also as it can fold up to cover the screen, you would need the a normal case to protect the back which can fit with the Smart Keyboard. Hope this helps.

The keyboard is slightly bulkier than the cover but is fairly light weight so it shouldn’t be a problem.
