Apple Watch and iPhone Health App won't Sync

My Apple Watch and iPhone Health App won't Sync. I have switched both off and on, I have re-set both, I have twice in-paired and re-paired the watch (apparently I didn't do it right the first time even though I did exactly what they said the first time). I have all of the reminders switched on in the My Activity section of the My Watch App on my phone and I am ready to drop the watch in the skip. I have also tried turning Airplane mode on and off and Bluetooth Off and On. Everything was syncing with the exception of steps from the Health App but now nothing is and everything that was there has been deleted. Apple Online Chat are about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Hi

If your Apple Watch and iPhone are not syncing data, then it may help to follow the steps here:

If your Apple Watch isn't connected or paired with your iPhone - Apple Support

Otherwise, as you have already tried unpairing and re-pairing your Apple Watch, you may wish follow the steps below, which have resolved Activity data syncing issues for other users.

Important: note that this process involves the permanent loss of all sensitive data on your iPhone and Apple Watch, including historic Health and Activity data, HomeKit data and saved passwords.

Start by making an unencrypted backup of your iPhone:

Restore your iPhone as new (ie to factory settings) using iTunes:

After the Restore completes, during setup, restore your iPhone from the unencrypted backup:

Pair your Apple Watch, setting it up as a new watch (do not restore it from backup):
