You are ranting here to the wrong company. Apple isn't responsible for creating apps for other companies. You can get a Spotify app for iOS devices. And you can listen to Spotify on your Mac through a web browser. The fact that Spotify isn't available with an app on an Apple TV is because Spotify hasn't developed an app for the Apple TV. I don't have a Spotify account, but I have no problem sending Amazon Music to my Apple TV from a browser. I should think Spotify would work the same.

This is you showing how uninformed that you are.

Wanted to point out to Apple that you’re being lame, shortsighted, etc. You are forcing fans of a popolar app to use a workaround to get to their Spotify content. You own the storefront, how about you quit walking out competitors. It screws us. Makes us even less inclined to buy further into the borg. Used to be a big fan. You’re starting to demand tribute versus simply producing better stuff we were willing to pay for. Going to end badly for you. We will buy elsewhere. The market will innovate around you.

I bought an Apple TV 4 for my mate at our appartment, because it is easy to use and he own's an iPhone anyway. How they connect is made perfect, but the loss of a browser and a lot of application's is just lame. If she isn't at home, i can barely listen to some music or stuff like that. There's just youtube with a lot of messy files with bad audio output, a story everyone should know. For me as geek it is just frustrating, i will never ever buy a product from Apple. I hope there's a workaround so i can flash Android TV on this **** box.

Yeah, Appleheads din't want to accept something other than Apple... No problem with that, all the devices from Apple just work as they should and there's no need to change something. The problem is the philosophy behind Apple: for example, iPhones from the 5th generation on didn't recieved a much better hardware (the X is a different story). All the hardcore Apple users wanted to buy the next phone, that Apple tricked them with too high prices for the innovation they did seems to not interesst someone. The hack for Apple devices is called Jailbreak, for a **** good reason...

The Apple TV has never had a browser so it can't have lost it. It's not intended for web browsing. If that's something you need, it's not the right device for you and you should definitely buy something else.

You're making a lot of assumptions based on... nothing. You don't know what people here like or believe. However, I should like to point out that not everyone has the same needs, preferences or desires that you do. The fact that someone likes something that you don't doesn't make them stupid or gullible. It just means they're not you. To insinuate otherwise is not very nice.
