Daisy-Chain 2 external Dell monitors

Hi:

I want to daisy-chain 2 Dell U2415 monitors (http://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/productdetails/dell-u2415) to use them simultaneously as external monitors for my MBP 15-inch, 2016 computer.

What do I need? I usually connect a single one using the USB-C to HDMI adapter and HDMI cable back to the monitor, but don't know how I can connect the two simultaneously. Or would I need to connect them separately via 2X of these adapters?

Would appreciate any insight.

Thanks,

F

With daisy chaining you have this kind of set up: macbook->display1->display2 with only 2 cables running from macbook to display1 and from display1 to display 2. This is done over display port 1.2 (please see the link I attached)

also this has been on the forum before Daisy chaining two DisplayPort monitors with late 2016 MacBook Pro

In my opinion it is much easier to just get two adapters and connect each screen separately to the macbook.

cheers,
