I downloaded CleanMyMac. After quitting the app, the icon cannot be found anywhere. Seeing that is doing something... funky... with my laptop, I am desperate to uninstall it but how do I do so without the icon?

Too bad the entire app isn't missing! CleanMyMac is no better than malware, it's been responsible for borking many systems. Uninstall CleanMyMac as per the developer's instructions.
EDIT: You should be able to launch the app from your Applications folder?
That's rather looks like you've opened the app from *dmg image that should be in your Downloads folder. If not, you can always re-download app from developer's web site and install it to the Applications.
Reinstall it, then uninstall it.
Sadly, I can't find it in my Applications folder. I also looked at the developer's instructions and it requires the app to actually uninstall it. Any ideas?
