Is there any way to insert a paragraph break in a message?

Sometimes I want to insert a paragraph break to create a new paragraph in the same message but the ENTER key just sends the message. I anyone knows of a way to insert a break, please let me know.

Try holding down the option/alt key while hitting the return key.
