Second Monitor automatically start up with IMac.

Hi, I've just recently purchased an OMEN monitor for my IMac. It works great side by side with my IMac. One day I was going through my login items and saw something I wasn't sure what it was. So I deleted it without thinking about it. The next day I realized what it was. It was the start up for my other monitor. Now whenever I shut down my IMac or it automatically shuts down, I have to manually turn on the OMEN monitor. I know its not a big deal but I was wondering if there was a way for me to get that login item back. If you need the specs of the OMEN monitor or my IMac just ask. Anyone have a fix?

Not sure why the monitor would needed a startup item to work or turn on. If it is connected using a Mini DisplayPort to Display Port cable or an HDMI cable, then your iMac should automatically recognize and wake it from standby mode. If not, then I would check in the monitors menu to see if the Source is set-up correctly.

If the monitor's Source is set correctly, then reset the iMac's

SMC as per > Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support

and then the NVRAM, as per > How to reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

to see if that solves the problem.
