A friend of mine just sent me a screenshot of this pop up while they were using a 3rd party app. Not sure of the name, but I believe it was a puzzle app. I'm assuming this is fake. What should I tell the person? I already suggested just closing it out and removing the app. Is there anything else? It hasn't happened to me before, so I'm kind of helpless on this topic
There are no viruses for iOS. This is a phishing scam.
Don't call, email or click on any links. Just delete the email and you'll be fine.

it opened up a pop up in safari. there's no threat to his device. just go back to the app and it'll go away.
also go to settings > safari > clear history and website data
That's what I was thinking. It seemed odd to me that it shows a web address like that as well. That was a glaring red flag to me! Thank you, I will let him know!
