Hello. I want to know where I can download latest Darwin OS? I don't have any problem even if I find its source code to compile.
As far as I know the latest release available is 16.6: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darwin_(operating_system) and targeting macOS (10.12.4) this is the starting point: https://opensource.apple.com/release/macos-10124.html
I just downloaded XNU few minutes ago from this link but I couldn't find anything about Darwin source code.
Thanks! But there is a problem. This is Darwin Installer not the Darwin itself. I'm also searching for a new version of Darwin like 17.0.0 which is kernel of iOS 11 beta 4 but this sources are for many years ago.
Well ... it depends what you need ... if you need to run the OS I think that the best think is to try OpenDarward or PureDarwin: http://www.puredarwin.org/ .. I get an ISO of Darwin many many years ago (I think at the time of Puma or similar) but it seems that they don't share the ISO anymore. Then think ad Darwin as to GNU-Linux ... is not a single project.
