Magic Mouse 2 not showing proper preferences in Yosemite (10.10.5)
I've got a 24-inch iMac running 10.10.5 that when I connect a standard Magic Mouse to it, I get the proper preference pane and can adjust settings.
However, when I connect up the new Magic Mouse 2, I don't get the full preference pane, just one very close to the generic, 2-button mouse version of the preference pane.
If I have both bluetooth devices connected, I can adjust the Magic Mouse settings and those changes stick. However, the Magic Mouse 2 just continues to work like a generic 2-button mouse. I'm trying to turn off the right-click on the Magic Mouse 2, but can't seem to get the Mouse Preferences to show up correctly to let me make adjustments.
The iMac is running production work, so I haven't plunged into upgrading to an updated version of MacOS yet. Since the Magic Mouse shows the right preference pane, I'm perplexed why the Magic Mouse 2 isn't showing it.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts or insight!

PS - I may cross-post this under Yosemite as well.
