Should Apple Watch detect standing while locked?
There seems to be conflicting information online about whether or not this works. I'd like some more answers from the users here 🙂.
I've found that when I put my watch on the stand to charge in the mornings before I go to work, if I don't unlock my phone or watch after putting the watch back on, I don't get credited for standing hours while I'm on my way to work. This is frustrating since I'm effectively missing out on two standing hours credit if I forget.
I've found posts online from people saying that their watch detects standing hours even when locked, while others say that it doesn't work. So I'm wondering if this is just an issue with my watch or if this is something that happens to other people, too.
For reference, my watch is a Series 0 Sport.
