I downloaded a bunch of songs via apple music to hear them offline on my mac / ipad etc.
Where are the files located on my mac? Also, since I downloaded them on my ios devices as well I would expect them to find them as well when I connect my iOS devices on a computer somewhere?
It is a while since I gave Apple Music a try but I seem to recall a separate Apple Music subfolder within the media folder. It doesn't really matter since you cannot copy Apple Music tracks into a new library, they must be downloaded by the library. If they are in iTunes then they can be potentially transferred to a compatible iOS device, although in practice you would normally enable the iCloud Music Library on each device which gives you all of the content over Wi-Fi, but prevents syncing with iTunes.
