how can i enable 4g on my iphone 7 plus

I have a iPhone 7 plus with 4G dual core built in. I used my SIM card from my iPhone 6 Plus until I could get a new sim. My iPhone 6 Plus sim only had 3G. I bought a new sim with 4G and 4G still won't work.

Go to settings> Mobile Data> Mobile Data Options> Enable 4G


you can then pick to use voice and data or just data.
