Wacome Intuos Tablet and pen

Even as I type this it sounds like paranoia - here goes... I have used a Wacom Intuos Tablet and Pen for over a year without any problems. I know I am up to date with my driver. I am running Sierra 10.12.6 on an imac. But, all of a sudden the tablet and the imac don't seem to like each other. I can't change a folder name on the desktop because the text will not highlight live, I cannot use the sidebars on some websites, various other small but supremely irritating little things which drove me nuts enough to return to a mouse. The mouse works just fine. Anyone out there have any clue what is going on, please?

Yeah,

You shouldn't be having any compatibility issues with that tablet on macOS Sierra.

Have you uninstalled any older drivers and installed Wacom's latest tablet drivers?

You might be better off taking up your drawing tablet issues directly with Wacom.

Have you tried simply unplugging/repluging in the tablet?

What about shutting down/restarting your Mac to see if these issues go away?

Hello Michael, I have a ticket open with WACOM right now but they haven't yet come back to me. Certainly do have the latest driver in there, having uninstalled before updating. This issue has continued despite plugging / unplugging and shutdown/restart before I came to the forum as a last resort. Thanks for trying - perhaps WACOM will have a fix. It makes working on digital illustration extremely frustrating having to jump back and forth between mouse and tablet for painting.
