My cogeco.ca account is receiving mail but not able to send mail?

My cogeco email account is able to receive mail, but I cannot send email, it stays in the outbox why?

Maybe you specified the wrong smtp server settings in your mail client configuration. Check with your email provider as to what the correct settings should be.
