how to automatically resume interrupted downloads in osx with curl

I'm stuck with a crazy slow and spotty wifi for the next few days

Trying to download the latest high Sierra beta, it gets to about 1.4 gigs, after several hours

wifi connection is broken, and then starts from scratch

Read that the cURL command can help, but I don't know how to use it

Youtube demos have been over my head

MacBook Pro with Retina display, iOS 10.3.3

This is explained in the cURL man page, though I am curious when Apple began offering High Sierra downloads accessible via cURL, and if not, then what you are attempting would be considered a breach of Apple's beta licensing terms.

As for the Apple Support Communities, we cannot discuss beta products, or provide support for them here.
