Audio mini-jack - What size is it ?

I wish to connect the audio output from my iMac to my audio system, but it is not clear to me what size jack plug I should get.

The spec just says 'mini-jack'. But is it 2.5 or 3.5mm ?

20" iMac Core Duo, Mac OS X (10.4.6)

The iMac does have the 3.5 mm jack.
Almost every speaker does also have this!
