Bypass touch ID

So I'd say up to 25% of the time the iPhone fails to read my fingerprint when attempting to unlock, and it's a good 10 seconds before I'm finally able to get in using the pin prompt that shows up after a few failed touch ID attempts. Any way to keep touch ID enabled but quickly bypass it for the pin prompt when it fails to work?

If your TouchID is failing that often, there's something wrong. The only time TouchID ever fails for me is if there's something on my fingers (usually water) or if my fingers are extremely cold. Even when it fails, I can enter the passcode immediately.

I'd start by deleting your fingerprints and re-adding them and then testing. You might also consider backing up your phone and then restoring from your back up.
