iPad Battery Widget Won't Show

The Batteries widget simply does not appear on my iPad, regardless of my settings in the Edit panel.

The other widgets appear as expected, but not Batteries.

If I hit the Edit button, the screen shows that the Batteries widget is active.

But when I go to the widgets view, Batteries is not there next to the other widgets.

I've tried moving the Batteries widget around on the Edit screen, I tried deleting it and adding it back in, I even tried restarting the iPad several times, all with no effect.

There are several other posts regarding this problem, but none have responses.

My iPhone SE running iOS 10.3.3 shows the Batteries widget properly.

Is there a bug in the iPad version of iOS 10.3.3?

If a Restart doesn’t help, the next step is Restore from Backup.

Oh, it's perfectly normal, if you don't have any accessories connected to your iPad, e.g. a Bluetooth headphones. The widget will appear after you connect any accessories to provide battery data. My Bluetooth keyboard does not appear on my battery widget but my Bluetooth earphones will display remaining battery on the battery widget.
