how to fix my camera lens

i accidently dropped my phone into a body of water. (got it out seconds later, works the same) buuuuut my back camera lens is suuper foggy. *goes to try and clean it nothing changes* yeah ive tried cleaning it and nothing happens. but i did notice theres a tiny little hole in between the flashlight and the camera. the water may have gotten in through there... i contacted apple support and they said to go into a store and get it looked at. i personally dont want to go there just for them to say "hey yeah ur phones back camera isnt working. i could fix it if ya want. itll only be like $99 plus tax and tip my dude" SO PLEASE HELP!

Hi

Do not turn on, use or charge your iPhone whilst moisture may be present inside it.

Contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available, if required), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider to have your iPhone inspected and to establish your available service options, timescales and cost:

It's "suuper foggy" because moisture has made its way inside your iPhone after you dropped it, especially since it's not a water-resistant model.

It may be possible to fix the back camera yourself, but it will still cost you for parts if they are required to do so.

If your iPhone is no longer under an AppleCare+ warranty, you may want to see what kinds of repairs are DIY by checking out this ******. If it is under warranty, just be aware that opening the phone will, most likely, void it.
