Add a link to a local file into a Reminder

Hi all,

Does anyone know if it's possible to add links to local files in Reminders? For example, if I have a reminder to review and update a Numbers sheet, is it possible to add a link to the local file into the 'notes' field, so it's possible to open the relevant file from the reminder? I'm trying to get this working on a MacBook first, but I'd love it work in iOS too.

This action is easy to accomplish in Evernote and other apps and I'm curious to see if it's possible in Reminders.

Thanks for any help!

MacBook Pro (17-inch 2.4 GHz), iOS 10.3.3

Thanks - will probably stick with Evernote overall; just interested to explore other options and I kinda like the simplicity of Reminders at first glance. Thanks for replying.

Evernote can be kind of.... busy. Reminders if good if you just want a program that reminds of things. It really doesn't have a very wide range of features, though.

Best of luck.
