Connecting to Personal hotspot is asking for WPA2 password - why?

Trying to connect a macbook pro to personal hotspot, but it's asking for a WPA2 Password. It has never done this before I don't know what the password might be. ANy ideas?

Check Settings > Personal Hotspot > Wi-Fi Password on your iPhone.


You will find the hotspot password there.


You don't want all sorts of strangers hopping onto your hotspot. Use this password.
