I can see my iDrive files on my laptop and iPhone and on the iDrive website however they don't show on Mac desktop. (I'm sure they used to). Some files show on the Mac but I'm missing the Pages and Numbers folders and many more. Is there a way to jump start or sync the Mac iDrive?

I have those folders and store documents in the iDrive. The apps are on the desktop or laptop. Since submitting my question - the missing folders are now showing on the Mac iDrive. It could be it just needed time to sync. Thanks for your effort.
You are mistaken. Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are in your Applications folder, not on the Desktop. iCloud Drive does not appear on the Desktop. It appears in the Finder.
If the applications are on your Desktop then you moved them there or made aliases on the Desktop. The document folders are on the iCloud Drive on your computer and on your iCloud.com page. Depending on your configuration your Documents and Desktop folders may have been transferred to your iCloud Drive. All of this is synced automatically if you are using iCloud on your computer and iDevices.
