MacBook Pro screen is partially red colored

I bought this MacBook Pro recently,on the desktop screen shows a red color square it covers 1/2 of the screen.when I restart the computer it goes away but after sometime it comes back. Can anyone advice on this ?

Try booting in safe mode and see if you still have the problem. If you don't have the problem in safe mode, it is likely caused by some third party software that is not loaded in safe mode. Also, make sure your computer is up to date as this issue may be fixed in an update. If all else fails, you could require a new screen.
