See the article macOS Sierra: Right-click

Open system preferences - click on trackpad - point and click check the box of secondary click , then click on drop down arrows and select the desired option .

The other way is to press the lower right corner of the trackpad.

That didn't work for me but, it did send me to preferences. I've never played with the track pad settings very much. I discovered that mine is set to right, or "secondary" click as Apple calls it, if I tap with two fingers. Very cool.
