How to downgrade iTunes 12.7 to 12.6 in macOS high sierra?

I need to download apps on my mac (cable download is much faster than wifi) but iTunes 12.7 doesn't support such features anymore.

I tried to remove iTunes from terminal using "sudo rm -rf Path_Of_iTunes" but returned no permission, is there any way to do that?

iTunes 12.6.3 is available from links in this article: Deploy apps in a business environment with iTunes - Apple Support. Mac users can install it directly over 12.7.x without uninstalling first. Windows users need to uninstall the main iTunes component. After installing 12.6.3 the iTunes Library.itl database needs to be restored from backup or using a process such as given in Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash.

hit command-i on iTunes (in the finder), at the bottom click the lock, next to everyone, change "custom" to "read and write". you can now delete iTunes. if you have a time machine backup, that will have the old version of iTunes. before you do this though, you need to go to finder>music>iTunes and replace the current "iTunes Library.itl" with the old "12.6" version of the file (each version of iTunes creates a new version of "iTunes library.itl", so iTunes 12.6 won't run with the "iTunes library.itl" created by itunes 12.7)

1. use appzapper to delete itunes 12.7

2. from the previous libraries folder, copy over the last dated .itl file to where your current one is

3. move the current one for safe keeping somewhere else ( just in case things don`t work)

4. rename the one you copied to the location to be itunes library.itl ( or whatever the new one was )

5. Install 12.6 itunes

6. Open itunes and your`re done.

Downgrading iTunes 12.7 to 12.6 on High Sierra:

I had a big complaint with the new version of iTunes. Specifically, Apple decided to remove the ability to access ringtones on the new version of iTunes (12.7), which also meant that the functionality of creating ringtones in Garage Band was rendered useless because there was no way to export (share) a ringtone into iTunes and there's no option of being able to save it anywhere else.

I thought it was a glitch and upgraded my OS to High Sierra, hoping to resolve the issue, but it was an intentional move by Apple to remove the feature.

The solution I found was deleting the newest version of iTunes using the Terminal app in the Utilities folder of my Mac and reinstalling version 12.6.3. The article in this link details the simple steps needed to do it:

Just so you know, the article stresses the need to backup your computer before performing the update (which is VERY good advice), but I went right to it without backing up and had no issues.

Apple's decision to cripple the functionality of iTunes and Garage Band while claiming it "focuses" iTunes on music, movies and podcasts is clearly a ploy to funnel revenue into the Apple Store and train its newest customers to expect less and pay more.

Shame...

You won't be able to do this as long as you didn't turn off the System Integrity Protection.

Turning off this protection (El Capitan, Sierra, High Sierra) will render your Mac vulnerable to many attacks. So you should proceed with care and turn it back on once you would have performed successfully your downgrade iTunes 12.7iTunes 12.6.

Outside of this protection, your downgrade should run without problem, and most notably

without playing with full backups of the system to downgrade it to Sierra or worse: too many risk

of errors.
