iPhone keeps redirecting to spam websites

When I go to a news website I keep getting redirected to http://nljpergeriihrgerg.arotrk.com/. How can I stop this?

It's also happening on my wife's ipad4 and iPhone 5s.

From what I can tell, the issue is being caused by a dodgy (Google Adsense) ad that's forcing a redirect on mobile browsers. Installing an ad blocker app on your iPhone or iPad should resolve it. Hope this helps.

Hi all,

Today I thoroughly reviewed the same sites on my phone and so far I haven’t encountered any issue. I will try on my iPad as soon as I get it from the shop where I brought it for diagnostic as that’s the device where the issue replicates non-stop.
At this stage apart from trying to understand the root-cause I am interested in understanding what’s the goal of this adware/virus or whatever it is (pure ad, steal data).
When I checked the Safari cookies, I have noticed that there are so many cookies from ad websites, it would be interesting to understand whether all these sites use the same tracking/ad service as Diana.McCall pointed out. I can provide a list of these cookies if needed.
