iPhone SE Touch Screen Problem IOS 11
I just upgraded my SE to IOS 11. Now the touch screen is hard to use. I have to hold things down for a long time and typing is almost impossible. Games don't work because touch is difficult.

iPhone SE, iOS 11
Just installed IOS 11.0.2
I've tested the apps that were having a problem with touch being slow or inaccurate.
Everything seems to be working find now.
Guess they fixed the bug.
how about 11.0.3?
iOS 11.0.3 includes bug fixes for your iPhone or iPad.
This update:
i love how it's not apple's software right up until they release the update that addresses the issue.
I bought an iPhone SE 32GB last week, exactly the same problem: it's very hard to hit some buttons towards the edge of the screen. And in general there is a lack of accuracy in the upper part of the screen. For example, I go to the App Store, enter some text in the search field, then try hitting the little cross to erase the text, and it takes me ages to do that. It's so frustrating... I hope it's a software issue (bad "feature") that Apple will solve asap.
I did an interesting test to "see" the problem by displaying the tapping: go to Settings, General, Accessibility and activate the AssistiveTouch. Open AssistiveTouch (tap on the new AssistiveTouch floating icon), then Custom, then create a new "Single-Tap" action (when asked for recording the new gesture, just single-tap the screen and save, and name it Single-Tap if you want). Now select the new Single-Tap gesture and try it out.

I have a similar problem.
I got my SE just a few weeks ago and immediately upgraded to 11.0.3, so I can't say if iOS 11 is at fault or not.
In my case, all the touches near the left or right edge (when in portrait mode) of the screen are detected about 5 milimeters closer to the center than they really are. For example to tap the 3 dots icon in the app store (when viewing app details), I have to tap slightly to the left of it.
It is also very obvious in notes when drawing vertical lines in Notes.
Also, I noticed similar behavior on a friends 5S that was also updated to iOS 11.
Hey Man, I just update one iPhone SE in our company. even with the iOS 11.1 is not fixing the problem. I will do a Hard Reset/Delete all Settings. If nothing would work I will reach our carrier provider for a replacement.
Cheers
In my case the hit box of buttons in the top left and right corners of the screen in different apps are offset towards the center of the screen. The result is that you have to hunt around the edges of the button to activate it, rather than pressing the middle of the button
An example of how this can be reproduced is:-
1. open the App Store
2. select the search tab
3. insert some text in the search box
4. press the close button
Expected result:
pressing the middle of the button should activate it

That is not normal behavior for an SE.
If you have concerns, play with an SE in an Apple Store; they all are running iOS 11.
Otherwise make an appointment to have it looked at and diagnosed.
I opened a thread about that (offset problems), titled "Touchscreen inaccuracies?", thread id 8137709
Here is a link: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8137709
We are all reporting the same offset problem. Some people tried on several SE iPhones in the stores and it’s always the same. This seems to be a major issue of the iPhone SE. The most basic functionalities (tapping, typing) are not easy on this phone. It’s a shame
I have the same problem, my iPhone SE is to days old.. games with a virtual joystick don’t work because after half a second the joystick „looses“ my finger and resets... while scrolling through Instagram feed or twitter, or even this website it often stutters and glitches up and down... but only after the iOS 11 update ;/
Hi.
Have the same problem. @Support: Upgraded some days ago and everything was fine. With IOS11.3 problems with touch and also some apps that does not find the correct display position. So should be a software issue.
