iPhone SE Touch Screen Problem IOS 11
I just upgraded my SE to IOS 11. Now the touch screen is hard to use. I have to hold things down for a long time and typing is almost impossible. Games don't work because touch is difficult.

I have the same issue. My iPhone SE (128GB) is just few weeks old and I’ve been experiencing this since upgrading to iOS 11. Tried every “fix” suggested here without any success.
Really, this many people have the same problem and no update nor acknowledgment addressing it?
I bought an iPhone SE 32GB last week, exactly the same problem: it's very hard to hit some buttons towards the edge of the screen. And in general there is a lack of accuracy in the upper part of the screen. For example, I go to the App Store, enter some text in the search field, then try hitting the little cross to erase the text, and it takes me ages to do that. It's so frustrating... I hope it's a software issue (bad "feature") that Apple will solve asap.
I did an interesting test to "see" the problem by displaying the tapping: go to Settings, General, Accessibility and activate the AssistiveTouch. Open AssistiveTouch (tap on the new AssistiveTouch floating icon), then Custom, then create a new "Single-Tap" action (when asked for recording the new gesture, just single-tap the screen and save, and name it Single-Tap if you want). Now select the new Single-Tap gesture and try it out.
It's very likely that we are now talking about a different problem (offset problem) from the one originally posted. We should have a separate discussion topic on the "offset" problem close to the edges, since all the replies here refer to the offset problem, which is still not solved.
We are all reporting the same offset problem. Some people tried on several SE iPhones in the stores and it’s always the same. This seems to be a major issue of the iPhone SE. The most basic functionalities (tapping, typing) are not easy on this phone. It’s a shame
I assumed this is a problem with the 2017 models (32 and 128GB), but tested today in a store a 15GB model (with iOS 10.3) and it has the same (offset) problem.
I guess every one of them has this, just nobody noticed (like on 5S where this problem is also present).
I think many people noticed. The offset is so large that many buttons are very difficult to tap. Apple should give an answer: is it an hardware or software problem? or is it a (weird) functionality that was made on purpose?
My son has this same issue. He reboots multiple times a day doesn't fix anything. We backed up the device and reinstalled the OS and issue continues.
I opened a thread about that (offset problems), titled "Touchscreen inaccuracies?", thread id 8137709

I have the same problem with an iPhone 6. Very frustrating. Phone is almost unusable. Apple please fix this with another update asap!
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I had already tried the hard reboot. It fixed the worst of the problem but there are still issues with touch not working correctly or being sluggish.
Thanks for the tip. App shows my battery is at 92% which it thinks is "GOOD".
Just installed IOS 11.0.2
I've tested the apps that were having a problem with touch being slow or inaccurate.
Everything seems to be working find now.
Guess they fixed the bug.
Having similar issue with iPhone 6. Hope Apple can resolve quickly.
