AirPlay not working after ios 11 update

Wow, that's a pretty extreme fix, and it should not be necessary, but I'm glad it solved your problem. I am having a similar but different problem. I use AirPlay from iPad to Apple TV for Amazon Video. Before I upgraded to iOS 11, it worked very well. Now, the connection drops after 2:50 (2 minutes, 50 seconds) of streaming. The connection persists when I am only screen mirroring. But as soon as I start streaming in the mode where video appears only on the TV, a timer starts somewhere and it's going to drop 2:50 later. I've tried a lot of the usual suspects. The problem is consistent. It's hard not to blame iOS 11.

Even after iOS 11.0.3, which have not resolved issue with AirPlay in my case (all iOS devices does not want to "play" with my Pioneer SC-2023) I still hope, that some dedicated people from Apple are reading this forum and will come with less extreme solution (then complete resetting of the device), which will fix issue with AirPlay.

I have an apple tv and a iphone 8. Since the new ios on saturday, 2 of december, my music cut every 2 or 3 minutes.

Such a point that I just have to stop listening to it. At 10$ a month , it's inaceptable.

I have the same problem. Since uprading my IPad Air to iOS 11i, the iPad can no longer see my Pioneer Elite SC-63 through AirPlay I have another IPad running iOS 10 and it can see my receiver.

Any suggestion?

I have exact same issues, particularly from phone to Apple TV 4. Better luck from Mac book air (Sierra) to Apple TV 4

What do you mean by airplay speaker restarts ? What is that ?

Still not working even after the suggestion was tried. When playing youtube on my tv via my Apple TV, it still says there is an error loading and kicks my iPhone off.

Thanks Steve RK, that fixed my problem, now I won't be tempted to throw my dumbbell at the tv mid exercises.

I have almost the same problem. My Airpods won't connect to Apple Watch until I switch off Bluetooth on my iPhone
