ios 11 update phone freezing

After i updated it it freezes for me

Why update ?. Everytime I update this iPhone 6 Plus 128 Gb it freezes.

If it was definitely a bug in iOS 11 then I would have it also. And about 100 million other users. And I keep my phone and several other apps in a folder also. If you just wait for Apple to fix this non-bug that is actually something wrong on your phone you will grow old first.

Restore the phone using iTunes and set it up as New. Don't add any apps, don't set up any mail accounts, don't even log in to iCloud. See if it works. Most likely it will, meaning it is not a bug in iOS, because if it was the problem would still be there. Then start adding stuff back. First, log in to iCloud. If that is OK then add your email, and apps, a few at a time.

Mine is doing the same. Go to make a call, press phone icon and get white screen and then it freezes. App eventually snaps close. Then the phone becomes unresponsive and won’t open any apps. Then eventually it goes to the phone screen but won’t connect.

It drops my Bluetooth connect/ reconnect.

My network signal also fluctuates. Randomly.

When I check my voicemail it freezes.

Text- screen stalls and hangs up, then crashes.

Phone calls go straight to voicemail. Never hear it ring, no alert notification.

Safari- Stalls and Lags to open

What I have done so far:

I have shut the phone down.

I have restarted multiple times.

I connected to iTunes and redid the update /restore

I have reset all network settings

I have done the most recent patch.

I did the accessibility- motion reducer -enable

Count me in. I have a 64GB iphone 7 and also experience the freezes people have been reporting (running ios 11.0.3). Apart from the freezes, I also have other issues with ios 11 :

- sometimes, I would initiate or receive calls ans not be able to hear or speak to the other person on the line (a reset would solve this but still, you can imagine the user experience of this)...

- listeing to music using a BT headset on a non Apple Music app (ie Deezer which is basically a Spotify competitor), commands sent using the headset would not be "routed" to the streaming app but interpreted by the iphone as meant for the default music app (eg, hitting play/pause while listening to a particular song would launch a song on the Apple music app). Also, the BT headset icon in the top menu bar would sometimes into show up there.

As a last resort before reinstalling my iphone as a new device, I have just disabled most of my "always on" location authorizations in the system settings as I've read in this thread that it might help... Will keep you posted.

Apple please fix this mess !! I had no such serious issues with ios 10

I tried resetting the settings. That didn’t work after about 30 mins-ish.

Apple told me hard reset. Also set back up to iTunes on PC. Then set up as new. After allll this, & the phone goes back to acting up & freezing again. Won’t let me send videos either.

Any other suggestions y’all😩😩

I had this happen too, and whenever I connected to Itunes and the Don't Trust/Trust this computer popped up, it always defaulted to Don't Trust. Therefore I could never connect to iTunes. What ended up working was completely draining my phone battery. I kept the flashlight on, played music from the control screen,etc. Once the battery died and I plugged it back in,it restarted fine.

My iPhone 7 Plus has been freezing when I put it to sleep and then try to wake it back up with my fingerprint. It just stays black for a while and eventually will open again if I try enough times. Sometimes it takes almost a minute. This just started happening with iOS 11 and has gotten progressively worse. Today it has happened 10-15 times at least. My brother also has the 7 plus and has the same issue, although not as bad as mine. Anyone know of a fix?

I've tried almost everything there is to try. Bottom line, no real fix yet. Just hacks to make it less worse (until I switch to a Samsung phone).

I attempted a restore from backup yesterday. It DID NOT work. Yes, my screen, settings, etc all came back (HOURS later). But after the restore was done, the whole screen went grey & the words UPDATE NOW appeared. No other options. I tried the home button. I tried turn off/on. It forced me to update the phone to 11.0.1. Or the phone was inoperable. Once that was done, it keeps bugging me to update to the patch😠😠😠
