After upgrade to IOS 11 my iphone 6s, sometime when I make a phone call the other party does not hear and my voice does not go. the problem is fixed after restarting the device but it happens again after a while

After upgrading to IOS 11, i started to have this exact problem with my iphone 6s in the first minute after upgrade, it only gets normal after restart but after a while it starts to not work again. Sound not going, not coming all calls are completely silent. İ never had this problem until upgrading to IOS 11.
And seing this is also happening to others, its probably a IOS11 6s issue.
It should automatically become available if you're on the beta program.

It's stopped happening to me a while ago. Probably due to a couple of apps I uninstalled. Tinder among them.

I now use the speakerphone for all calls unless privacy is an issue.

Update: Today my sounds have been working on and off. I was able to play music, videos, and take a call without speakerphone for a while but it went back to no sounds.
How much is a "little better"? I use whatsapp almost every day, and I would hate to give it up for an insignificant improvement.
So after yesterday’s carrier update and iOS 11.1.2 my phone now plays sounds normally. So much for a hardware issue. It’s has yet to revert back so it seems fine... for now.

I've had the opposite experience, 11.1.1 worked fine on my 6, 11.1.2 however is giving me the same problem you had.
I spoke too soon. I tried making a call a couple hours ago and it did not have audio. This problem persists for me, but is occurring less frequently.

I had two brand new Iphones 8 with the default setting ONLY on Data and still having the problem with the microphone.
My Phone is now back to Apple for repair, wait what they will find.
