iOS 11 iPhone icon labels missing in dock

Please bring the labels back ASAP!

What a truly stupid move. the icons in ios 10 and 11 (I have two phones) are the size.

APPLE, GIVE USERS THE OPTION TO LEAVE APP NAMES IN TH DOCK ON OR OFF

I put entire folders in my dock. Now I cannot tell which folder is which.

Agreed. We need the labels back, or at least the option.

I would rather have labeled folders or apps in the dock than more folders or apps. The labels are important.

I feel stupid that every other app has a name under it, I want them gone too!

Crap I’d pay 5 bucks for that option, and a transparent icon container ... oh how sweet that would be.

No everyone spends time memorizing icons. Reading a label is much faster.

Then file feedback as suggested; no one here has the ability to make this change or to convince anyone at Apple to do so, we're just users like you.

Well said. It’s bad enough that I need to learn the icons - now I need to help my 81yr old father learn them - this is a real confidence booster to someone who already struggles.

You’ve described me. All icons are just colours to me. A nightmare for me - I now have to position them in my alphabetical order as the easiest way for me to remember them.
