Just wanted to inform you that WiFi in new iOS 11 keeps turning on
iPhone 6s, iOS 11
Communion wine was the ultimate test, if you could drink that stuff anything was achievable.

If you're tapping the buttons in control center, it's a change whereby tapping the icons drops the current connection but does not shut WiFi (or Bluetooth) off; to do that you have to use the slide toggles in Settings.
This is quite handy as you can disconnect from a current troublesome WiFi network without having to remember to reenable it later.

We Presbyterians used grape juice.

Sigh, yet another misinformed user, chiming in without having read any of the posts on this topic.
But this time it is supposedly an engineer with expertise in communications security. But I certainly would not hire them.
Nor would any of my clients who routinely turn to me to fill their network engineering positions.
